Christmas has been a wonderful time this year. Im gonna explain everything from last night when we made cookies up until now. So lets get into it!
Baking is a huge thing between my sister, myself, and my mom. My mom bakes A LOT. My sister has been her apprentice for a couple years now and I couldn’t say Gianna is doing any less than pretty good. I have kind of had a love for baking but, ya know, in the busy life of AdviceAgers there simply is… limited time… lets just call it that 🙂
So anyways we made the annual Christmas fudge that we will probably have half gone in the first week after this holiday. (Possibly even completely gone if 1, we are really hungry, and/or 2, if we just go nuts.) So yeah. Along with that we made special tiny little cookies that my mom makes some years, and other years she makes something COMPLETELY different. Its honestly what the Christmas mood is this year. She also made cookies that I thought looked like Pasta but were ACTUALLY cookies. (Sorry mom, you just never get those types of cookies right.) Either way me and my mom were taste testing the dough before we baked them and Tommy and Gianna and I got freaked out about there being egg in the dough, which there wasn’t. (Quick fact for ya: The egg in the cookie dough is the reason why you get sick because it may contain what makes you sick called salmonella. No egg? No worry.) Some people eat the egg-y dough anyways because their immune system doesn’t fight the egg when it goes through the digestive system. (Another quick fact: You usually get sick not when you eat something bad and it goes into your system, but your immune system detects it and takes energy and other things out of your normal life to help it fight the intruder. However in some cases certain illnesses are different so I would not suggest changing anything in your diet due to this fact.)
We put out our stockings and the cookies for Santa. I noticed how there were 2 of each on the plate and I asked why we needed to put out 2. My parents gave me a glare. Course it did not matter because not Gianna nor Tommy was paying any attention. (hehehehehe) So anyways we went off to bed and I decided to sleep in Giannas bedroom with her while Tommy would sleep in the office. Quite peaceful to be honest. We had taken some last minute photos by the tree and (lol this part) I could not stop mentioning that I need them for the blog (save me). Sorry! Its just I didnt have my camera yet for another probably 14 hours! 😛 So yeah. That was that. I didnt get to read anything since we were kicked out of the family room. I mentioned that we COULD stay up since Santa is probably running late and wont be here for awhile. And so the glaring returned. (Im too evilly funny around my parents to be honest.)
It got to the point where, Christmas morning, I woke up at 2 different times thinking it was time to get up: 2 am, and 4 am. I honestly at 4 am decided to lie in my bed and rest, than at around 6:30-7:00 I decided to do some blogging. So I got up and wrote this!
Before the big reveal
Its kind of a tradition in our family to have mom go in and take pictures while we wait in another room impatiently. It got to the point where, as I said in a recent post, we would push past each other in the small hallway to get in the room first. It ticked my parents off. (Sometimes we did it just to annoy them because like all tweens should think: Annoying our parents is da best!) So anyways we usually go in the office or my mom and dads room. So anyways yea. Thats when it all started 🙂
The presents were awesome! I not only got my own camera but I got a new Rob Gronkowski jersey (Go Pats!) and some awesome games. I also got a cool black board that when touched with a pens metal tip, a chemical reaction causes it to basically be like a dry and erase board, but no batteries needed! Its honestly so cool. This was an awesome Christmas and I cant wait for the ones to come!
Christmas Party At You Know Who´s!
At my aunts house (my dad´s sister) we had some awesome fun and I was given in a present some cool headphones that will definitely be useful for the future. I also got the WHOLE 3rd SERIES OF WARRIORS! EEK! Im honestly addicted to the series. Santa had given me the second half of the first series. I read Books 1 and 2 (and probably more had my mom ordered the other books faster :eye roll:) and im going to check out Book 3, read it, than read the second half of the series that I got from Santa: Books 4, 5, and 6. Im so excited because supposedly, Books 4, 5, and 6 have some dramatic twists in the series. SO EXCITED! Thanks again to my awesome aunts, uncles, cousins, and my awesome fam!
Thanks for reading tonights Christmas review and after you read this I want you all to go spend time with the ones you love. If you live far away give em a call and just wish tham a happy holidays! 🙂 Cya soon Agers!
